We also render legal services on drafting international commercial contracts (sale of goods, provision of services, agency agreements, etc.) whose language is either Russian or English as well as on negotiating the provisions thereof with our clients' counterparties. In particular, at clients' requests we prepare and negotiate special conditions to GAFTA (48, 49, etc.) and FOSFA (53, 54, etc.) contracts.

Extensive experience in international commercial arbitrations with application of international private law and the laws of different jurisdictions allows us to better understand those contract provisions which are in "risk zone", i.e. are capable of increasing the probability of an arbitration and/or of making a client's position vulnerable in the latter.

While drafting or negotiating an international contract, we put an emphasis on an arbitration clause thereof, which frequently, as judged from our experience, is not given proper consideration in commercial environment – the omission often leading to jurisdictional disputes prolonging the resolution of a main dispute (on merits) and increasing parties' overall expenses on arbitration.
